Which Word Or Phrase Is So Overused That You Want To Retire It?

Hi there. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably been hangin’ out on the internet, having a good time, when you see someone use a phrase or word that just makes you roll your eyes.

Let me give an example. For me, it’s the phrase “let that sink in.” Two reasons: One, I think it’s just been waaaayyyyy overused on Twitter.

See what I mean?

Two, it always makes me think of this classic Tumblr meme:

For you, it might be something completely different! It might just be a random millennial slang word, for example. Or it might be misuse of the word “random,” for that matter.

So, I wanna know: Which word or phrase do you wish we could retire forever? Leave your answer (and be sure to explain why if you have strong feelings about it!) in the comments, and your suggestion may be featured in a future TheNews.Top post or video.
